Meet the TikiTender
Three decades of Florida hospitality — and every story worth telling.
I'm Mark Woods.
TikiTender. Bartender. Entrepreneur. Community advocate. Radio host. Husband. Dog dad. Hospitality lifer.
I've been in Florida hospitality since 1996 — long before I ever stepped behind a bar. Front-of-house, tourism, tee times, you name it. I finally picked up a shaker for the first time in the fall of 2004, and I haven't put it down since.
TikiTender.com is where I bring it all together: the recipes, the music, the community work, and the stories from three decades on the Fun Coast. More than just your favorite bartender, I’m a neighbor, a fundraiser, a hype man, and your favorite event collaborator.
30 Years in the Making
Harborside Inn — The Beginning
Started in Florida hospitality at the Harborside Inn in 1996. Not behind the bar — front-of-house, learning the rhythms of the industry, how to read a room, and what genuine hospitality actually looks like. It set the foundation for everything that followed.
World Golf Village
Moved into one of Florida's premier golf and resort destinations. World Golf Village brought a different scale and clientele — and deepened the understanding of what it means to create an experience, not just a transaction.
Tee Times USA
A stint in the golf tourism world with Tee Times USA — still in hospitality, still building relationships, still learning. Every chapter added something to the story.
First Pour — Henry's Harborside Bar
After nearly a decade in Florida hospitality, I stepped behind a bar for the very first time in the fall of 2004 at Henry's Harborside Bar. It clicked immediately. The craft, the connection, the energy of a great bar — I knew this was where I was supposed to be.
Purveyor of Good Times™
The tagline that stuck. "Purveyor of Good Times™" wasn't a marketing decision — it was just the truth. Whether behind the bar or out in the community, the approach has always been the same: show up, be present, make it count.
Golden Lion Café
The Golden Lion Café in Flagler Beach became a second home. One of the most iconic spots on the Fun Coast — and the regulars became family.
Flagler Cigar Company & The Humidor
Flagler Cigar Company was the brand — and The Humidor Cigar Bar & Lounge was where it came to life. A different kind of hospitality: slow, unhurried, built on conversation. The Humidor was the room where people settled in, and Flagler Cigar Company gave them something worth savoring. Another chapter in learning what it means to make people feel genuinely at home.
Fun Coast Bartending
Founded Fun Coast Bartending, a professional event bartending company serving weddings, corporate galas, fundraisers, and private parties across Flagler, Volusia, and beyond. What started as a side hustle became a full-service operation with a reputation for professionalism, personality, and perfectly crafted cocktails.
Community First
Volunteering, fundraising, and showing up for Flagler County. From Vincent's Clubhouse to the Flagler County Education Foundation to ReThreaded — I believe the bar is a platform, and that platform comes with a responsibility to give back.
Ride The Wave
Late-night radio host on Surf 97.3 FM — Palm Coast's home for classic hits. "Ride The Wave" brings the same warmth and personality from behind the bar to the airwaves. Music, stories, and good vibes every week.
Pouring Back In
Vincent's Clubhouse, Flagler County Education Foundation, ReThreaded, and more — Mark shows up for the Fun Coast.
See the workRide The Wave
Mark's late-night show on Surf 97.3 FM brought Palm Coast classic hits, good stories, and that same bar-side warmth — 10 PM to 2 AM. The show is currently on hiatus, but the music never stops.
